First Vice-President, Role, Responsibilities and Duties:

FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT: The first vice-president shall be in charge of Public Relations and perform other duties as requested by the president, and shall serve as president in the absence of the president.

First Vice-President – Public Relations:

1. Keep a current list of contacts in the media.
2. Supply information about upcoming events of the Friends with contact names and telephone numbers for more information.
3.  Keep abreast of deadlines for local media. Posters and flyers are the responsibility of the First Vice President although it may be more beneficial for the committee doing the event to take on this responsibility.
